Salary: £25,000—35,000. Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (Permanent). Reference BBBH1109

Our award winning client seeks an SEO specialist with a minimum of 4 years-experience to join them in their Cheltenham offices. The successful candidate will be expected to successfully develop the SEO strategy to build the companies ranking in the main search engines through best practice techniques.

We are seeking a highly-motivated and talented individual to deliver this exciting brief. You must be enthusiastic about joining a dynamic company relatively early in its life and committed to playing a pivotal role on the journey ahead. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid background in search engine optimisation, be well organised, technically competent, possess strong writing skills and sound commercial acumen. This will include fully understanding the impact of Google algorithm updates (Panda, Penguin & Hummingbird) and the appropriate use of canonical tags. An understanding of luxury brand positioning and terminology will put you in a good position when applying for this role.

Your responsibilities will be varied, extending from the implementation of on-site development plans including improving copy, conducting technical and structural amends to improve site accessibility, updating meta data and optimising images to supporting and develop strategy for social media activities to increase follower numbers and engagement.
