Copywriter

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative copywriter with an interest in behavioural science to join our Cheltenham based client. This is a very interesting role offering a mix of marketing and science.

Our client is looking for an engaging storyteller who is able to encourage people to respond to direct marketing communications. By digging deep into the psychology of decision-making and getting to grips with how and why people make certain choices you can use that insight to make your writing more effective.

You’ll be a generator of strong conceptual ideas, a problem-solver and someone who can present work to clients in a compelling way. You will have a positive attitude, both in terms of work ethic and collaboration with colleagues and clients. A background in fundraising and/or financial services and an understanding of behavioural science would be advantageous.

In terms of skills and experience we’ll be looking for someone with an excellent command of English, grammar and writing skills, clear creative thinking and digital understanding. You should have excellent presentation skills with good negotiation and persuasive skills whilst demonstrating a flair for diplomacy. You’ll be good at managing your own time, show initiative and pro-activity and have a thirst for knowledge and a respect for the opinion of others.

The role offers a salary of £25 – 40K, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.
