Software Developer

Salary: £25,000—30,000 + benefits. Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (Permanent). Reference BBBH1392

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Software Developer to join our successful Cheltenham based client within the insurance sector. As part of their Digital Development Team you will be working on a range of projects utilising the full development stack in order to contribute to overall business performance.

Principal duties will involve providing a strong contribution to the team’s output, working with team members to continually improve standards and skills within the team as well as working with stakeholders to manage specification and championing and driving a strong culture of compliance and regulatory principles.

Essential skills required:
*.Net Framework and C#
*ASP.Net – Web Forms and/or MVC
*HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS3
*SQL Server – TSQL
*Ability to work in an Agile environment

Desired skills:
*AngularJS
*Git
*SASS and/or LESS
*Web Services – WCF and/or Web API

The successful candidate should also have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively deliver projects on time and on budget and work well under pressure. We’ll also be looking for flexibility and adaptability and an open and approachable working style which enables the sharing of ideas and best practice.

This is a full time role offering a salary of between £25 – 30K, depending on experience, plus a range of excellent benefits.
